Lose 13KG!!!

Assalamualaikum,

Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha..

So, i've been in Malaysia since 15th and currently settling down in my little hometown, Kelantan. When my sister first started on HL 6 months ago, she weighed 87kg. A few days ago, she's back for her holiday and jumped on the weighing scale. Guess what, the number is 74.7kg now! so she had lost 13kg ( and a lot more of body size)...she could not believe it herself!!! I'm so proud of her and she's best living proof how great HERBALIFE has been..

For your information, on-call is a dreadful thing for (junior) doctor where we've to work throughout the night so to have something handy for both nutrition and energy is indeed a great convenience!

BE HAPPY FOR YOURSELF

In just one day, i received two great news from my wellness buddies. The first one was an email from AR...

1. lost 4kg the first two weeks and maintained the weight at 80 after that.
2. the jeans yang i beli kat bandung last august pakai muat2, now dah loose..
3. you know bubbling tak? yang vocal warming exercise tu? before this, i can't do it but now i can. maybe because pipi dah tak tembam sgt cam dulu kot. hahaha...
4. the spare tyre kat perut dah kecut.. =)
5. my officemate dah mula perasan cos she said before this if i wear baju kurung, mesti nampak tight a bit kat bum. but now no more.

CHANGE YOUR LIFE WITH HERBALIFE

Guess what? Saya tak melenting langsung bile mak bagitau tadi yang mak tak beli roti canai for me. Tak der langsung rasa nak marah. Kalau before i consume HL, kalau my mak tak beli roti canai or nasi lemak ke for my breakfast mesti saya rasa nak marah sebab my mak tak ingat kat saya. Hahahaha. Bagus kan HL ni? Saya tak craving langsung nak jamah itu roti canai eventhough adik saya tengah makan roti telur depan saya. Kalau dulu, roti telur 2 keping pun saya boleh makan. Tengok badan lah kan. Tapi, skrg ni alhamdulillah saya dah sedar. Takut lah kena penyakit.

And my cravings towards makanan segera pun dah tak cam dulu. Everyday saya balik keje, memang saya akan lalu Mcdonalds Sec 3 tau. Kalau dulu, boleh kate tiap-tiap petang saya akan singgah kat Mcd tu beli fries or anything lah kan. Skrg ni, nak pegi sane pun dah cam tak der hati dah. Hahahahaha. Dalam masa yang sama, saya boleh jimat duit dan boleh beli HL.

I thought i wouldnt be posting up for a while but great news shouldn't wait? ;)

1. YM with a new HL buddy-just received her HL pack

yatt, i just got the vanilla today, so tak sempat lagi nak try the taste of vanilla. will try it tonight. but you know what? since a couple of days ago, i did not even take any shakes (sebab stock dah abis kan?), just had teamix and you know what? i managed to lose 1kg. and that day, i bought this slip dress. memang ketat a bit but i bought it anyway cos it was so nice and it's also for my own personal motivation. last night, i tried it on and muat! happy, happy, happy!

My Secret?

I met a friend during one of the open houseses last week

Friend: ceritalahh yatt, ape rahsia ko kurus mcm nih?
Me: emm, HERBALIFE..
Friend: serioussss?? *disbelieved face*
Me: YUP!

what else should i say, kan? because i didn't skip meals, i didnt have much time to exercise, i didnt deprive myself from good food. All i did for the past few months were consuming shakes twice daily (or once when i was in M'sia) and one (or two while in M'sia, again;p) good meal everyday. So, HERBALIFE is really the answer isn't it?

Nobody came to me saying i looked sick or something like that because of this routine.Indeed i am doing really good, health-wise. No migraine, no gastritis, well-nourished.

I FEEL GOOD too;)

My NOURIFUSION Story

I have dry skin type and very sensitive to chemical-laden products. It got really itchy and drier the last time i used chemically based cleanser, not to forget toner often gives me stinging sensation whenever i used it more than once a day. Although i may not suffer from acne (or scar from it) as much, blackheads and depigmentation were bothersome all this while. Oh yes, that black area around my eyes made more looks more like a medical student than anything else (although i must admit i do sleep 7-8 hours a day)..

It's my 5 weeks of NOURIFUSION dry kit (Cleanser, Toner and Moisturiser) so far and no exaggeration, i'm highly satisfied with the outcome. Alhamdulillah. The skin complexion never looks better, i had no trouble using toner everytime i need to ( usually twice a day) and it feels smoother and healthier. I'm happy now that the black area has started to clear out so my eyes dont look as tired as they used to be. BUT the best thing of all is when blackheads & teeny weeeny scars starts to clear off. yippie yay!
I've added to the collection: NOURIFUSION eye gel, scrub and night cream.

Now that i've THE BEST PRODUCTS in hands, i worry no more about my skincare;)

More HERBALIFE experience

It's been 5 days since i reach Melbourne (again), thus the lacking updates because i was pretty occupied to settle down with the new rotation. Everything's been good so far, alhamdulillah.

As for the fasting, it's not that hard to adapt to the time change. Now that Subuh is as early as 430am (230am M'sian time), Herbalife shakes is simply perfect for sahur. Banana Mocha Shakes would be on top of the list! divinely yummy and keep me filled till the breaking fast around 630pm (despite having to walk to and fro bus loop for about half an hour everyday). As for berbuka, i simply make sure i had sips of Teamix and slices of fruits before having my normal meal. And yes, i shed 2kg effortlessly and my weight is now 52kg. tehee~!

How do i reward myself? going to kid's department in the shopping mall to grab all those cutesy tops that i've previewed last weekend...*grin*

tell you what, aku lose weight pun tak byk...just about 6-7kg je tp i've lost so much around my body measurement and i've shrink a lot (..but bear in mind berat aku takde pun kurang dari 50kg) so it's not all about ur weight ok. kekadang u can simply measure ur progress by all the clothes yg dulu maybe ketat sendat and now dah boleh pakai loosely...also as aku dah mentioned a few time, HL change ur fat into muscle(which weigh more) thats why eventho berat x turun byk tp we're actually shaping up nicely...

yup, the symptoms is just temporary...once ur body dah get rid of all the toxins u can lose weight/inches easily...

as for those yg consume formula 1 only, they're actually taking 4 scoop of it instead of 2 so might as well amik F3..not only it has a lot more soy protein for ur skin complexion, it helps to build up muscle so that lps lose weight badan tak jd flabby.

Me: WAAAAAAAHHH, dah turun 10 kg. dulu dekat 87 kan?
Mum: hehehehe...

and when i checked the date, she only started last July so that makes it about 3 months' time. Isn't it?

Hail to HERBALIFE;)

i was given this remark more than once by friends and relatives.

anywayyyy, for the past month i put myself in maintenance plan (again) with Herbalife shakes; that is consuming it only once daily. Reasons being; i dont wanna miss out on Malaysian good food while enjoying my short break. Who would, huh? Sometimes, i even settled for teamix only for the whole day while i was travelling. I dont really put much worry about putting on weight because i know i have Herbalife...

so, yesterday i took a chance to measure myself again. I know i may not lose weight within this period considering how many impromptu eating out's i had and very-much-missed home-made cooking i feasted on. to my suprise (and BIG JOY), i am actually losing cm's around the target area instead. To date, i have lost

Waist= 6cm

Hip=5.5cm

Thigh=6cm

Arm=3.4cm

that makes me 21cm smaller at the correct spot. lalalala~!

so, although i may only maintain my weight as heavily as 54kg, i do have waist of 24'.

Personalised plan & BUDDY PROMOTION...

I'll just cut and paste my email to my wellness buddies regarding the personalised plan for Ramadhan



Assalamualaikum to all my wellness buddies,

based on feedback & personal experience, i've formulated personalised plan for consuming Herbalife during this Ramadhan season. Insya Allah if you follow the routine as close as possible, you will enjoy GREAT results during hari raya;)

Sahur (5-6am) : 500ml Shakes (3 scoop of Formula 1 & 2 scoop of Formula 3) -we're fasting for more than 8 hours thus our body need extra nutrition & hunger-control protein powder). You could also add another glass of teamix for extra energy!

Berbuka(7-8pm): 500ml teamix with normal meal- tips to avoid over-stuffing your stomach would be starting off the breaking fast with tamar, teamix and a few slices of fruits.

Night (10-11pm): Drink at least 1-1.5L plain warm water(air suam laaa) to replenish the water loss & prepare yourself for the next day. I would not advise you to add teamix at this hour because u may have difficulty to sleep afterwards due to the extra energy ;) You may drink another shakes ONLY IF you're feeling hungry(most people said they stay filled from berbuka) or planning to skip sahur the next day. Oh, remember the basic rule to lose weight/shape up? PLENTY OF WATER!

Simple, yet i believe very practical for the season.

It takes YOU to appreciate HL

another favourite question thrown was about the possible side effects of HL. on personal note, i have not experienced any side effect for the past 5 months of using it. i could not think of any, really. on a global note, HL has been in the market for more than 20 YEARS (i know, it's only been recently introduced in m'sia thus the slight ignorance) with 50 MILLION CUSTOMERS and growing. so, that must means something right? it has its Medical and Scientific Advisory Board to make sure everything within the standard. i dont think we could expect more than these for assurance.

and what about the 'yo-yo' diet or i'm-gonna-skip-meals-to-lose-weight method? doesnt it have more obvious side effects from lack of nutrition to lacking energy or binge-ing? OR what about feasting on all the high cholesterol-MSG-sugar meals? surely, it has all the side effects known to everyone. u polluted your blood vesseld with fat plaque, increasing your chance for all sort of trouble with diabetes and many more. OBESITY? it's nothing new worldwide.



i wrote this 3 months ago, and my stand never changed. everytime ppl try to question about the side effects of HL, i have to stop myself from smirking. oh sorry, not that i find it ridiculous but rather sorry for the lack of understanding about CELLULAR NUTRITION. Insya Allah, those who consume HL will appreciate it without any doubt ;)

The tips & tricks...

like what i've been emailing my wellness buddies...

1. Believe in yourself
Nothing's gonna be more helpful in changing your life with HL than keeping a positive mind & attitude (i dont really fancy the phrase 'lose weight/inches' anymore cos i know HL does more than that) about yourself and the effort. If you do not keep a good faith in yourself, nobody will! So, instead of saying 'ermmm, what if it only works for others but not me?' CHANGE IT TO 'well, if it works for others why not me?' challenge yourself, prove it!

2. Counter-attacks the cravings or big appetite
Before you succumb to the tempation, drink at least 500ml of plain water(better still, with teamix). Heh, there's a high chance that you're actually thirsty and not hungry. oh oh, if you still fail to let go the temptation..remember, there's always another time to eat so do it moderately.hiks;) or maybe you could start changing to healthy snacking-fresh fruits, some nuts or muesli bar.

3.Plenty of water
yup, as much as 2L per day is our daily requirement. It could be from drinks, soup, fruits but the best one is still plain water. To flush out the toxins, better cell functions and good hydration.

4.Get yourself a mentor
If makes a difference, i believe so. Especially to those who are likely to bounce back to the old habit. That's why HL is not available in the shop because without someone to monitor your progress and lift up your motivation, the products may stay forever in the kitchen cabinet ;)

5.Do it right
I believe the reason people fail to progress is because they dont follow the routine correctly. If you drink shakes twice +1 normal meal daily to lose weight; shakes once daily +2 normal meals for weight maintenance/wellness; shakes twice daily after meal to gain weight; great results are yours!

6.Test your creativity
Dont get stuck with only one taste or flavour. Variety of taste will keep boredom away.. That's why i always suggest vanilla shakes for a beginner becos it can be turned into different yummylicious shakes....love it! my personal preference would be chocs+oats shakes for breakfast fruity-vanilla shakes for dinner. special message to those in Msia, add a few cubes of ices for a significantly better-tasting shakes !!

7.Know the products well..
Its CELLULAR NUTRITION is something everyone should understand and to the HL consumers, to be PROUD OF!

Lovely mama & beautiful baby..

My cousin recently delivered her first baby boy and decided to start on HL during her confinement. So, this was what she emailed me..

'...guest what? even tak consistent ambik HL pon (kadang ambik 1 shake per day kadang ambik 2 shakes per day ;p), tapi, after 3 weeks, berat dah turun 3 kg. Then, inches pon kurang 10cm.. and then, my skin pon bersih dan cantik tak kusam dan kering mcm dulu even E(the baby) pon dah kurang ruam kat badan dia. Berkat susu ibu...heheheh..'

=D it's sooo nice to be able to share stories with my wellness buddies about their HL experience. i really agree with her, HL makes life so much easier. i have my experience fasting with HL as well, heaven. woke up and spend 5 mins with my shakes and i was done with sahur. to those who's planning to fast with HL, here's the deal

sahur: 500ml shakes
berbuka: 500ml teamix +normal meal
in between: 500ml plain water/teamix (if u tend to stay awake after teamix, better drink plain water instead)
before sleep: 500ml shakes

because the nutritional shakes contain all the nutrition your body need, that explain longer satiety..as for the teamix, hydration is vital as you've lost a lot during the day. try it yourself and you'll experience the difference;)

1. Betul ke kalau amik HL tak boleh makan nasi?
huihhs, sape tuh yg sanggup korbankan nikmat dunia? hiks, dont worry kalau la HL nih satu program yang tak bagi makan nasi, aku dah awal2 lagi tarik diri...itu semua tak benar. basic rules for HL senang je


Lose weight: 1 normal meal (nasi/mee/roti/pasta etc) and replace 2 meals with nutritional shakes every day.
Gain weight: Drink nutritional shakes after every meals (nasi/roti/mee/pasta etc)
Maintenance: 2 normal meals (nasi/mee/roti/pasta etc) and replace 1 meal with nutritional shakes.

so, tak nampak tang mane yang tak boleh makan nasi kalu amik HL =)

2. Takutla kalu dah berhenti HL nanti berat naik balik?

Beyond love

I have always wanted to make a difference in my younger sister's life, and more importantly in regards to her self-esteem. her big frame kinda swallow her photogenic face, and so she's always feel sad about...

so today, when i called her up and she let it slip that she has lost 4kg after about a month of HERBALIFE (yeah, she had to re-start again after a lonnngggg holiday at home...ppbbhtt), i am ready to jumppp and dance and do the joget lambak..

my good fren is about to start her internship soon. being a busy-bee in the hospital is a tiring job, no one can deny that. so she sent me this question

i am not saying this because i am the distributor but as a friend. i know how long hours can do to anyone..feeling burnt out and lacking energy. you can be soo tired to even find your own meals, be it from the mamak stall or cook it yourself. you end up nutrition-deprived, more tired because of no energy and the circle goes on and on.

My auntie started on HL about 2 weeks ago in an effort to manage her weight better.also, working as an engineer surely takes a great toll on her. energy-wise.

I smiled while reading article. I was in the same boat about 6 months ago, feeling so tired and lacking energy towards the end of the day. My face showed, i didnt feel great at all. i was so worried thinking how am i going to survive my work with its ungodly hours and constant things to take care in the hospital? i am not interested in coffee cause it gives me bad headache and other notorious addictive effects it's going to do for my body.

Oats and Cholesterol

Credit to Miss Amal for the initial article. I really think it's worth highlighting considering the fact that the number one culprit for heart disease is actually your cholesterol level. then only comes smoking, diabetes and hypertension.

Think oats ... what comes to mind? Healthy? Nutritious? A little bland and unexciting ? Troublesome to prepare ? Probably something only granny would eat for breakfast. So, are these perceptions true? Well, yes and no.

Yes, you're right

You know that oats is a 100% natural food and is therefore, good for you. But did you know that it's especially great for your heart? In fact, oats are actually the only major grain clinically proven to help lower your cholesterol, which will, in turn, significantly reduce your risk of heart disease.

How does this work, you ask?

Every day, the cholesterol made in the body is used to make bile acids, which
digest and absorb the fat that we eat. When you eat oats, the soluble fibre(beta-glucan) it releases binds the cholesterol-laden bile acids in your gut and both are eliminated through the bowels. This means the cholesterol is kept from entering your blood stream, leading to lower blood cholesterol and reduced risk of heart dieases.Oats also contain insoluble fibre, which adds bulk to the stool and helps it pass through the stomach and intestines more easily. Besides lowering the cholesterol level, oat soluble fibre (beta-glucan) also helps stabilise blood sugar levels. It slows down digestion and absorption so that it takes more time for the glucose (sugar) in your food to enter the bloodstream. This prevents a sudden spike in blood sugar levels and is especially beneficial for those who have diabetes.

Oats also brings good news to those who are trying to lose weight. Because it is a low-fat source of energy, oats take longer to digest.
